Ever considered a Poland holiday? Luckily for you we have a great range of trips to Poland to choose from, tailored for a variety of different visitors.
Through the recently aired BBC programme 'The Hairy Bikers Northern Exposure' we were re-acquainted with our colourful neighbours from the Baltics. The Hairy Bikers served up a dish full of the splendour of Baltic culture, history, architecture and last but not least, the traditional Baltic cuisine. The programme showed us all there is to know about comfort food from across the Baltic Sea region.
One of our package holidays to Poland comes with benefits, with its coastal region toward the Baltic sea, offers great traditional dishes with fresh fish and sea food, homemade pierogi and vodka, alongside wonderfully coloured salads and pickled condiments drawing on both Russian and Baltic influences.

Hi Inga
We have just returned from our trip to Poland and here is the feedback.
The trip was excellent in very detail. We have no complaints at all. The itinerary was full and extensive. We managed to pack in a great deal. All the visits in the different locations were very well managed. The local guides in all places were very well informed, courteous and clear. Their English was perfect.
The hotels we stayed in were top class - all 4 star- and offered excellent facilities. The breakfasts were enormous. There were quite a few groups in the hotels and we followed some of them around for the whole of the trip.
We did not see, however, any other English groups - they were mainly French, Spanish and Italian.
Our group was small - only eight persons - 5 Americans, one Irish and ourselves. We had a small but brand newl coach and an excellent driver. We had sufficient stops for coffee and toilet breaks.
We must particularly mention our tour leader - Martha - who attended to every detail, no matter how small. Her English was excellent. Her manner was friendly but authoritative.
My wife enjoyed it particularly. She was able to practise Polish for the first time in 50 years. She was quite fluent by the end of the trip. We found the Poles very welcoming. The roads were excellent ( better than the UK) and the standard of living has increased greatly since my last visit about 15 years ago.
It would perhaps have been better if the trip cold have been extended to say 10 days. This would have given us more time in certain places - in particular Gdansk and Cracow. Still we may return for a mini break to Gdansk - long weekend perhaps with some of our children and relatives.
We heartily thank you for a wonderful holiday - packed with activities but very worth while.
Cheers

Hi Laura,
Thanks for your e-mail.
We had a very enjoyable tour. The group was relatively small (18 people) and we all got on very well.
The hotels were good to very good, centrally located and offering excellent breakfasts. The only exception was Mercure Torun Central. The bathroom didn’t have a shower curtain and there was no hot water during our overnight stay so we ended up having cold showers in a very wet, slippery and messy bathroom.
The sights were very interesting and exceeded our expectations.
The tour guide (Renata), though fairly knowledgeable, was not the friendliest and didn’t really engage with the group. She seemed to do the minimum required of her and at times was rather unpleasant with some of the group members. The other local guides we had were very good.
The driver (Wukash? I think!) was excellent.
As for photos, unfortunately it’s my husband who takes them with his fancy camera. I’ll try to forward some whenever he gets around to downloading them on the PC.
We will definitely use your company in the future if it covers destinations we’re interested in.
Best regards
Malak

Hi Michael
Thank you we had a lovely time. We thoroughly enjoyed Krakow and Zakopane, a good combination in both contrast and time spent at each location, we commented it had felt like we had had two holidays!
Your organisation was exceptional, everything happened/people arrived when they should have and if there had of been a problem we knew who to contact, which is important when you are in a different country and don't speak the language.
Krakow is a lovely city, easy to get around and steeped in history, the hotel was modern and airy and a good position for the Jewish quarter. The trips were well organised and guides very informative.
Zakopane has so much to offer, a fantastic family winter activity destination. In our opinion the hotel could do with a little modernising but this was outweighed by the facilities it had to offer, spa, gym, bowling etc. There were so many different things to do in and around Zakopane, walks in the woods, snow maze, funicular railway and a whole host of things we didn't get round to doing.
Thank you also for the activities you organised for us, Retha was brilliant, she looked after us taking us to each activity, really knowledgeable, had some great tips on where to go/places to eat etc. We feel like we have had a VIP trip!
Once again I thank you for your organisation, we will most definitely recommend you and look forward to booking our next holiday with you!
Kind regards

Dear Daina
Yes, now back to work after a lovely holiday.
All arrangements went very smoothly, apart from Heathrow on the return journey. The flight was delayed from Warsaw, then delayed on the tarmac before being able to park on the jetty. Then, we got held up at Border Control Special Assistance due to various passengers with foreign passports!
However the week in Gdansk was fabulous. The hotel was lovely, in the best location right on the main street, and close to the river front; big spacious rooms with easy accessibility. We had just a few niggles, mainly due to the lack of organisation from staff in the restaurant at breakfast; and there was no porter which I found strange for a 5 star hotel. All transport in Poland was on time with good drivers, and the special assistance at the airport was amazing. I think Heathrow could learn a few lessons!
Thank you so much for all your help with the arrangements, we couldn't have done it without you. We will soon be looking for the next holiday, and I will be in touch when we have decided on a destination.
Kind regards
Kay

Dear Daina,
Only just back Sunday, and then work... .
Poland was lovely - really interesting, varied and stimulating. The hotels made fine bases in both Zakopane and Krakow, and we thoroughly enjoyed both places - for very different reasons.
Hotel Aries was very good indeed, and yet just quirky enough not to make one feel 'processed'; the spa and related facilities were among the best I've ever been to (and I used to travel a lot in the UK) - in fact only equalled by those of the Hotel Stary, which were magnificent, especially given their setting - under 16th century vaulted brickwork. Service was lovely in both places, and though we had to hunt a little in Zakopane for ethnically interesting restaurants that weren't too loud or packed (end of Polish holidays?), the ones we found were delightful - live folk music, and good hearty, yet sometimes subtly prepared Polish cuisine. Krakow was pricier than I expected, but still cheaper than England, and a cultural gem. The decor throughout Stary was astoundingly good (even though occasionally lighting got a little lost in the exquisite play of contemporary style and history)!
The transfers were fine, and drivers courteous in the extreme - though one driver seemed to express all of his inner angst on giving us a particularly scary white knuckle ride (perhaps he thought we were in a rush/)!
All in all, we were very pleased - thank you.
Robert
